Indian hospitality group Lemon Tree Hotels has announced plans to expand its portfolio with the signing of a licence agreement to open a new property in Amritsar, Punjab.
The hotel, which is expected to open in the fiscal year (FY) 2028, will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel in Amritsar will feature a total of 68 guest rooms, complemented by a range of facilities.
These amenities include a restaurant, a rooftop bar, dedicated meeting rooms, a fitness centre, two banquet halls, and a swimming pool.
Located approximately 19km from Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport and 9km from Amritsar Railway Station, the hotel will be easily accessible for travellers.
The new property aims to serve the millions of pilgrims and tourists who visit Amritsar annually, drawn by attractions such as the Golden Temple and the historical Jallianwala Bagh memorial.

Recently, Lemon Tree Hotels confirmed opening a new hotel in Mcleodganj, marking its third property in Himachal Pradesh, India.
