Lemon Tree Hotels has announced signing for a new upscale property under its Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand in Surat.

Set to open in the financial year 2030, the hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.

The Aurika property in Surat will feature 175 well-appointed rooms and suites, and a range of amenities including a ballroom, boardroom, dining options, a swimming pool, and a spa.

Surat, known as the 'Diamond City of India' and the 'Silk City', is a hub for diamond cutting and polishing, as well as textile production. The city is not only an industrial powerhouse but also a cultural beacon in Gujarat, offering historical sites and a rich culinary scene.

Aurika Hotels are designed to reflect the unique spirit of their locations, combining stylish elegance with comfort. These hotels offer modern dining, entertainment, fitness, and wellness facilities, ensuring guests experience the brand's philosophy of 'beyond the unusual' in service.

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL), one of India's largest hotel chains, operates across various segments, providing a suite of seven brands to cater to different guest requirements.

LTHL opened its first hotel in May 2004. Now, it has a portfolio of over 160 hotels, which includes over 110 operational hotels, and more than 60 hotels set to open in India and internationally.

It has a presence in major metros, tier I, II, and III cities, and has expanded internationally with openings in Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal.

This announcement comes after Lemon Tree Hotels recently announced the signing of a property in Nashik, Maharashtra, under the Key Select by Lemon Tree Hotels brand.
