Indian hospitality company Lemon Tree Hotel has announced the signing of a new hotel at Gir in the state of Gujarat.

Slated to open in financial year 2026, the new hotel will feature 74 rooms, a restaurant, meeting and banquet facilities, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness centre.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Sasan Gir is approximately 60km from Keshod Airport while Diu Airport and Hirasar Rajkot International Airport are 100km and 180km away, respectively.

The Junagadh railway station is around 50km, and the Veraval railway station is 45km from the hotel.

The state of Gujarat is home to Gir National Park, a natural habitat of endangered Asiatic lions.

Once opened, the new property will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a fully owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.

Lemon Tree Hotels managed and franchise business CEO Vilas Pawar said: “We are excited to share the expansion of our portfolio in Gujarat, where we currently have seven existing properties. This addition will complement our ten upcoming properties in the state.”

The new signing in Gir follows the signing of a new hotel in the same location, earlier this month.

Slated to open in 2030, the property will feature 80 rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, and a spa.

The company launched its first hotel with 49 rooms in May 2004 and now has a portfolio of more than 180 hotels – 110 plus operational hotels and more than 70 properties in the pipeline across India and internationally.

Lemon Tree Hotels’ brand offerings include Red Fox by Lemon Tree Hotels, Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, and Lemon Tree Hotels, among others.
