Lemon Tree Hotels opens new property in Indian state Himachal Pradesh

The hotel boasts of 39 rooms, three event venues, a bar, a multi-cuisine coffee shop and a conference venue among others.

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened Lemon Tree Hotel, Mcleodganj, its third hotel in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The opening of the franchised property marks the company’s 95th property in both India and the world.

It follows the signing of the Lemon Tree Hotel Mashobra in Himachal Pradesh as well as a licence agreement for a property in Dehradun.

Situated on the forest border in Kangra district, Lemon Tree Hotel, Mcleodganj boasts 39 rooms, each featuring a large balcony and modern interiors.

It offers a multi-cuisine coffee shop, Citrus Café, a bar called Slounge, three event venues with views of the hills and forest, as well as a conference room.

Among the other amenities provided at the hotel include a swimming pool, a fitness facility and a spa.

Guests at the hotel can enjoy the Triund trek as well as explore attractions such as Namgyal Monastery, Tsuglagkhang and Dal Lake.

The hotel is 25km from Gaggal Airport, Kangra and approximately 95km from Pathankot railway station.

Lemon Tree Hotels operates in the upscale as well as the mid-market segments and currently operates 8,750 rooms across 95 hotels in 60 locations.

In August this year, the brand signed two properties in Himachal Pradesh and Odisha.

Further, the company plans to open new hotels internationally in Bhutan as well as Nepal.
