Indian hotel chain Lemon Tree Hotels has further bolstered its presence across the country with the signing of a new property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune, in Maharashtra.
Due to launch in fiscal year (FY) 2026, the hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a fully owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune will offer 117 rooms, along with a variety of amenities including a restaurant, bar, meeting room, swimming pool, banquet facilities, and a spa.
The property is approximately 21km from Pune International Airport and around 20km from Pune Railway Station.
Known as the "Oxford of the East", Pune offers access to several educational institutions.
Lemon Tree Hotels managed and franchise business CEO Vilas Pawar said: “We are excited to share the expansion of our portfolio in Pune where we have four existing properties across upscale to midscale brands.
“This addition will complement our existing 12 hotels and three upcoming properties in Maharashtra.”
The latest announcement follows the signing of the 57-room Lemon Tree Hotel, Nashik in Maharashtra.
This hotel will feature a meeting room, banquet hall, swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bar.
The company launched its first hotel with 49 rooms in May 2004 and now has more than 110 operational hotels and over 70 properties in the pipeline across India and internationally.
Lemon Tree Hotels' brand offerings include Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels, and Red Fox by Lemon Tree Hotels, among others.
