Lighthouse, a commercial platform in the travel and hospitality sector, has expanded its business intelligence (BI) solution with the introduction of three new features.
The new additions comprising Total Revenue, AI Smart Summaries, and Custom Reporting aim to enhance the current BI solution set, which is claimed to be used by more than 8,500 hotels worldwide.
Total Revenue offers a comprehensive view of a hotel's financial performance, encompassing both room and ancillary revenue.
It provides detailed insights by department, source, and segment, all while syncing automatically with the property management system.
This integration is claimed to improve data accuracy as well as eliminate the need for manual data collection, allowing hoteliers to swiftly optimise revenue streams and boost profitability.
AI Smart Summaries employ Generative AI to condense complex data into concise daily reports for hotel commercial teams.
This feature summarises key performance indicators such as pick-up, average daily rate, segmentation, and occupancy.
It streamlines revenue management processes, providing quick performance to the entire commercial team, fostering strategic decision-making and improved results across all stakeholders.
Custom Reporting provides the flexibility for users to generate, export, and schedule tailored reports and dashboards.
It enables hoteliers to derive valuable insights, leveraging pre-sourced data, a pre-built data model, and a variety of modifiable report templates that encompass crucial metrics.
Lighthouse Business Intelligence Products head Gregory Peppel said: “Business Intelligence is a key component of our commercial platform, and we continue to improve on our offering with new features that address customer needs, with hospitality-specific applications of the latest technology, such as Generative AI.”
In February 2024, Lighthouse announced the acquisition of Stardekk, a channel management and distribution software provider in Belgium.
