LivAway Suites, a new hotel brand, has officially opened its first extended-stay hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, US.

Located in West Jordan, the hotel was constructed in nearly 12 months, after breaking ground in June 2023.

The property features 126 modernised suites with fully equipped kitchens and technologies to offer an enhanced extended stay experience.

The hotel is developed by real estate investment company West77 Partners.

West77 Partners chief development officer Paul Duncan said: "LivAway Suites has an incredibly efficient design that gives you the most bang-for-buck I've seen in this segment.

"A lot of brands are trying to get into the economy extended stay market, but LivAway Suites has incorporated decades of learning into its hotel design and operating system. Our budget savings on this project are evidence of that."

LivAway Suites focuses on economy extended-stay lodging and aims to serve construction workers, the military, displaced families and others.

The company claims to offer one of the lowest franchise fee structures in the hospitality industry.

In addition to its first property, LivAway Suites has broken ground for eight locations in the past 11 months.

Later this year, the company plans to open in various markets, including Nashville, Washington and Montana, and others.

The hotel brand also has plans to initiate 20 more locations within the next year.

LivAway Suites chief operating officer Kevin Dailey said: "Three years ago, we created LivAway Suites to be the first hotel brand created for developers, by developers. Every decision made by the brand must translate to a higher return on investment for the real estate, otherwise we do not pursue it."
