Mid-market hotel chain Lords Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new property in Chandigarh, India.

The company will manage the property, which is scheduled to open early this year, in Dera Bassi.

The new property will offer accommodation catering to discerning travellers along with an all-day dining restaurant and a rooftop lounge bar.

It will also host a wide array of events, ranging from corporate training sessions to weddings at its banqueting and conferencing facilities, including a pillar-less banquet hall.

Lords Hotels & Resorts chief operating officer Pushpendra Bansal said: “We are thrilled to announce the addition of Lords Hotel in Dera Bassi. Our commitment is to deliver warm hospitality to travellers exploring this city, providing an exhilarating experience.”

Lords Hotels and Resorts vice-president Vikas Suri said: “This development strengthens our presence in this region. With a focus on delivering quality accommodation and services at attractive prices, the hotel aims to ensure a delightful stay for all our guests visiting this region.”

The latest addition comes after the hotel chain signed a property, Lords Eco Inn Kota, in Rajasthan last year.

The hotel is expected to have 40 rooms along with a multi-cuisine restaurant.

The company also unveiled the opening of Lords Eco Inn Ambaji in Gujarat in September 2023.

The property has 34 guestrooms and a multicuisine restaurant offering vegetarian options.

Lords Hotels & Resorts has four categories comprising a four-star property, Lords Plaza; a three-star hotel, Lords Inn; an economy hotel called Lords Eco Inn; and an upscale property, Lords Resorts.
