South Korea-based Lotte Hotels & Resorts has announced the soft opening of its first overseas L7 Hotels by Lotte branded property in Vietnam.

The hotel, L7 Hotels by Lotte West Lake Hanoi, is located within the 353,700m² mall complex Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi in the Tay Ho area.

The property has been built as a complex of two towers facing the West Lake and the Red River.

The 23-storey towers are home to a total of 264 guestrooms and 192 serviced residence rooms. Each room in the hotel will also have a terrace.

On the hotel's 23rd floor is a rooftop infinity pool that overlooks West Lake, with a circumference of 16km.

The property also features an exclusive lounge, named Lake Salon, that can be availed by the hotel’s guests staying in premium rooms.

Additionally, the guests opting for premium rooms will have access to the Club Lounge, which offers a wide variety of food and beverage options and services, including afternoon tea and happy hour.

The hotel’s food and beverage area also includes another lounge, called Lush Salon, offering desserts, light beers and coffee.

Based on a communal lounge concept to function as a shared working space, Lush Salon has been designed to address high demand of co-working spaces, the hotel group said.

Furthermore, the guests can avail various in-house restaurants in the new L7 Hotels by Lotte hotel, such as the Michelin-starred dim sum franchise Tim Ho Wan and the Hedonist cocktail bar.

It also includes a buffet restaurant Layered, with seven live cuisine stations offering diverse variety of dishes, including sushi and sashimi along with BBQ and live carving corners.
