Lotte Hotels & Resorts, a South Korean luxury hotel chain, has migrated to Sabre Hospitality's SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS).

CRS will serve as the hotel group’s primary reservation platform.

The aim is to streamline processes and bolster retailing opportunities for the hotel chain, which has growth plans both within South Korea and on the international stage.

This partnership with Sabre Hospitality, a division of Sabre, will enable Lotte Hotels & Resorts to leverage a suite of advanced solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency.

Among these tools are SynXis Retailing, which allows for the seamless sale of services and experiences, with or without a room booking, increasing hotel revenue.

Additionally, the integration includes the SynXis Booking Engine, which is tailored to optimise the direct booking path and convert customers.

The Corporate Booking Tool will assist in managing business travel, while the Voice Agent will facilitate enhanced direct customer interaction.

Meta Search services will be used to increase online visibility, while Channel Connect will ensure real-time distribution across multiple platforms.

Sabre Hospitality global managing director and senior vice president Frank Trampert said: “The migration to our cloud-based SynXis CRS will empower Lotte Hotels & Resorts with advanced technology to optimise operations, reach new markets, and enhance guest experiences.”

Lotte Hotels & Resorts chief DX officer Jaehwan Kim said: “By adding our properties to the SynXis CRS, we are positioning ourselves to better serve our guests with more efficient and seamless reservation experiences.

“This enhanced collaboration with Sabre marks an exciting new chapter for us, as we continue to expand our footprint and deliver exceptional luxury experiences across the globe.”

The move follows Lotte Hotels & Resorts’ soft opening of its first L7 Hotels by Lotte branded property in Vietnam last year.

The property lies within the 353,700m² Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi complex in the Tay Ho district.

Lotte Hotels & Resorts currently operates 35 hotels across seven countries.
