Mallory Court Hotel and Spa has submitted an application to Warwick District Council in the UK seeking to renovate its guestrooms, as reported by WarwickNubNews.

Situated on ten acres of land in Harbury Lan, the over 100-year-old hotel plans to renovate 19 of its guest rooms as well as bathrooms.

This project will also include the expansion of certain bathrooms at the hotel once approval is received.

According to the application form: “Layouts of the current rooms are not ergonomic or commercially viable as they are.

“For the hotel to continue commercially and keep its rating, a full bedroom makeover is required.”

The property was originally built in 1916 for businessman James Thomas Holt and in 1995 it was purchased by its current owner, Sir Peter Rigby.

The hotel is now part of the Eden Hotel Collection of six hotels in the area.

Currently, the hotel boasts 43 rooms and Elan Spa, which offers a range of treatments and provides one-hour access to the swimming pool at an additional charge of £15.

Guests at the property can dine at The Dining Room, which serves an a la carte menu, as well as enjoy menus tailored to their tastes at the hotel’s private dining venues, such as the Eden Suite.

The property offers afternoon tea featuring homemade cakes and pastries, freshly baked scones and sandwiches.

It also has Orchard House Café, which includes a sun terrace and outdoor vitality pool.

The hotel can host social gatherings at its Knights Suite, which can accommodate up to 150 guests and at The Pavilion.

It also provides venues for intimate gatherings at The Dining Room and The Drawing Room, which have a capacity of around 60 guests.
