The Mantra Club Croc, a resort managed by Accor under its Mantra brand, has recently completed an A$8m ($5.2m) refurbishment, Hospitality Net reported.
Located at Airlie Beach in Queensland, Australia, the resort with 160 guestrooms, is owned by Well Smart Group.
With the refurbishment, it now showcases a new interior design that encapsulates seaside sophistication and coastal-inspired décor.
The resort, which is situated near the beachfront and Coral Sea Marina, is set in a traditional Queenslander-style building.
Each room now includes a freestanding minibar, a robe with an open hanging rail and shelves, custom bedheads, and a storage banquette with an upholstered seat pad.
Beyond the room refurbishments, Mantra Club Croc has introduced new services such as an updated room service menu, a poolside cocktail service, and a high-speed Wi-Fi upgrade.
The resort's reception area and poolside restaurant and bar are also slated for renovation later in the year.
It is well-equipped with a large lagoon pool, spa, tropical gardens, a gym, and extensive complimentary parking suitable for a range of vehicles.
It also features a conference centre capable of hosting events for 20 to 200 delegates.
Well Smart Group director Jack Jia was quoted by Travel News Asia as saying: “Our commitment to continuous improvement underscores our dedication to providing a world-class tourism offering.
“The resort has been tailored to savvy leisure and business travellers who value immersive spaces, modern dining, and leading-edge design – it offers a seamless and intuitive experience while providing access to the Whitsundays’ famed blue waters, white sands and rugged green-clad islands.”
In December 2023, Accor further bolstered its presence in Australia by adding Mantra Tonsley Adelaide. The company signed a hotel franchise agreement with 1834 Hotels.
Mantra Tonsley Adelaide opened last year and has 88 rooms and apartments.
