Marriott International has reached a milestone with the opening of its 9,000th property, the St Regis Longboat Key Resort, in Longboat Key, Florida.
This property is spread out on 18 acres of land and offers 168 guest rooms, including 26 suites and 69 private branded residences.
It has been developed by Unicorp National Developments and designed by SB Architects, HBA Miami, and Dutch East Design.

This property adds to Marriott International's portfolio of seven brands across 522 luxury hotels and resorts.
The company also has 139 open branded residential properties in 32 countries and territories, alongside a pipeline of 122 projects across 38 locations.
Earlier this month, Marriott International also teamed up with Zhong An Commercial Group to introduce the W Hotels brand to Hangzhou, China.
The W Hangzhou is slated for a 2031 opening and will offer 270 guest rooms and suites.
