Marriott Bonvoy and CAMP partner to offer family-friendly experiences

Tailored to children of all ages, CAMP Club features themed environments focusing on sensory, visual and experiential play.

Marriott Bonvoy has joined with family experience company CAMP to revolutionise family vacations worldwide.

Founded in 2018, CAMP combines retail and entertainment to craft immersive family experiences for toddlers to preteens. Operating in eight locations across the US, it is also set to expand to Washington DC.

The new collaboration will introduce the CAMP Club experiences to Marriott Bonvoy locations. The inaugural offering in the partnership will debut at Marriott Cancun, Mexico, with bookings available for spring 2024.

CAMP Club offerings will then extend to additional all-inclusive Marriott Bonvoy locations later in the year, with plans for further expansion across other Marriott Bonvoy portfolio brands.

Building upon a successful 2022 pilot programme, families will be offered a blend of accommodation and activities curated by CAMP experts. Tailored to children of all ages, CAMP Club at Marriott Cancun will feature themed environments focusing on sensory, visual and experiential play.

Marriott Bonvoy highlighted the three key pillars of CAMP that define the experience:

1. Creative corner: guided arts and crafts workshops and other hands-on experiences.

2. Interactive play: games, activities and storytelling.

3. Themed environments: child-friendly atmospheres with visual graphics, pennants and “disco cabins.”

Jason Nuell, SVP of Premium Brands at Marriott International, expressed excitement for the collaboration in a statement:

"Together with CAMP, we have created new opportunities for kids of all ages to discover and unleash their creativity.”

Ben Kaufman, co-founder of CAMP, emphasised its transformative impact on family holidays.

"CAMP has spent the last five years re-inventing what it means to have fun together as a family.

"We are excited to team up with Marriott Bonvoy to bring our memory-making experiences to properties around the world. Parents deserve some quiet time, and kids deserve a space where there are no boundaries to having fun."
