Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa has announced the completion of its $10m second phase renovation.

The latest move follows the recent renovation of the function space, dining outlets and public spaces of the resort.

Private hotel company Columbia Sussex owns and manages the beachfront resort, which is located in the exclusive residential community of Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, US.

Work on the second phase involved the renovation of 513 guest rooms and suites, including four Vice Presidential Suites and the Presidential Suite.

The suite rooms were renovated using earthy tones to reflect the new design philosophy.

Guests can now enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape, with each guestroom featuring large-format windows.

Each luxurious guest room has also been designed with contrasting finishes, architectural framing and solutions.

The renovated guest rooms feature luxurious beds, high-speed Wi-Fi, plug-in panels, chairs, 50-inch TVs and an in-room coffee bar.

The entry and porte-cochere of Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa now include a newly resurfaced driveway entrance, the porte-cochere and high-end herringbone pedestrian and vehicle pavers.

Additionally, new light sconces are added underneath as well as around the main entrance, creating an inviting greeting for guests entering the resort.

Using a coating technology conducive to withstand the salt air environment, the complete exterior of all buildings in the resort is freshly painted.
