Marriott International has entered a partnership with US-based Delaware Investment to debut its JW Marriott luxury safari lodge in Serengeti, Tanzania.
The property, which is anticipated to open in 2026, will feature 30 private suites, comprising two presidential suites, which will include an exclusive pool and deck area.

To be located within the Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the luxury safari lodge will additionally feature dining, beverage and meeting amenities.
International tourists can reach the lodge through Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a domestic flight to a Serengeti airstrip or an eight-hour drive.

JW Marriott Serengeti Lodge will be the brand’s second luxury safari lodge in Africa after the launch of JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge in Kenya earlier this year.
Earlier this month, Marriott International signed five deals in Africa to expand its Protea Hotels by Marriott portfolio.
