Minor Hotels, in partnership with Thai real estate developer CP LAND, is set to open the Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel on 1 September 2024.
Previously known as Grand Fortune Hotel Bangkok, the 402-key property will operate under the Minor brand following an extensive renovation.
Located in the central business district (CBD), Avani Ratchada Bangkok, will feature contemporary guestrooms and suites, including a 169m² luxurious Presidential Suite, and an exclusive AvaniClub Lounge on the 25th floor.
The Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel will cater to a diverse clientele with its culinary offerings, including international and local cuisine. In addition, the hotel's wellness centre includes a lap pool, AvaniFit gym, spa facilities, a Japanese onsen, and a sauna.
This will be the 12th Avani hotel in Thailand and the third in Bangkok, enhancing the brand's presence in the city's new CBD.
The hotel is strategically located to have easy access to the city through Phra Ram 9 MRT Station and is close to the Airport Rail Link and BTS Skytrain.
CP Land Public Company CEO Keerati Satasuk said: “This collaboration between CP LAND's Fortune Hotel Group and Minor Hotels is a strategic alliance that will pioneer the expansion of hotel management across Thailand.
“We are committed to enhancing service quality and leveraging our existing hotels to attract international travellers, ultimately driving economic growth and elevating the standards of the tourism and service sectors in Thailand.”
The opening of Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel is part of Avani Hotels & Resorts' expansion in Asia, with further openings planned in China and the Seychelles in the fourth quarter of the year.
In June 2023, Minor Hotels signed a management agreement with the Boulevard Hotel Company for a new hotel in central Bangkok.
