Mojave Resort, a boutique hotel in Palm Desert, California, US, has opened following renovation work.
The facelift was overseen by Dallas-based Practice Hospitality, which has revitalised the property while maintaining its original structure, the Gala Villa, established in 1957.
Practice Hospitality operations VP Klaudio Simic said: “Mojave Resort is more than just a place to stay; it's a love letter to Palm Desert, designed to capture the essence of the original 1957 property through thoughtfully preserved details paired with modern comforts today's travellers expect.
“This resort is a gateway to experiencing the unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness that defines this destination, promising an unforgettable stay that beckons guests to return.”
The resort features 25 guest rooms and suites, all of which provide direct access to the communal courtyard and pool area.
Its premium rooms include seating areas, with the Mojave Suite featuring a fireplace. Every room also offers direct access to the communal courtyard and pool.
Mojave Resort also includes a pool and hot tub spa, along with fire tables and an event lawn.
The resort hosts corporate and private events, with the option for complete property buyouts.
Located adjacent to the El Paseo, Mojave Resort is close to the region’s shopping, dining, galleries, and recreational offerings.
The latest announcement comes shortly after the launch of the renovated The Mining Exchange, another Practice Hospitality-managed property, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The launch marked the debut of the Registry Collection Hotels in the US.
