Saudi Arabia-based NEOM's board of directors has unveiled plans for a luxury coastal tourism destination called Epicon that will also include residential offerings.
Situated on the Gulf of Aqaba, Epicon will have two towers, one standing at 225 metres (m) and the other at 275m.
These towers will house a hotel with 41 rooms and luxury residences as well as 14 suites and apartments.
Meanwhile, an Epicon resort located near the hotel offers 120 rooms and 45 beachfront residential villas.
These residences and beach villas aim to redefine liveability with advanced innovations, improved services and premier experiences.
Epicon is being conceived to meet the complete array of needs of guests and residents, who can enjoy dining at destination restaurants, undergo wellness treatments at the spa and relax at the beach club.
Other amenities to be provided at Epicon include a gym, a library, pools, workspaces and lounges.
The property will also provide guests access to a range of water sports.
NEOM is a sustainable futuristic regional development located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia.
It was launched in 2017 by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia announced plans to develop up to 500,000 additional hotel rooms across various regions of the country, including the NEOM project.
In September this year, Marriott International entered an agreement with NEOM to open two luxury properties at Trojena.
