Illinois-based hotel development and management company NexGen Hotels has acquired The Cole Hotel in Palm Springs, California, US.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.
The boutique hotel will now be managed by the Genuine Hospitality Group from St Louis, Missouri.
The Cole Hotel has 30 rooms, each designed in the Palm Springs style and offering views of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the San Jacinto Mountains.
These rooms offer amenities such as Nespresso coffee machines, Victrola Bluetooth stereos, 4K smart televisions with streaming capabilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi, among others.
The hotel's on-site bistro Freddie's Kitchen offers French-California cuisine infused with global flavours.
The adult-only hotel provides a range of other facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, lounge areas, an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit, and an outdoor bar.
Additionally, its location offers easy access to local attractions such as the North Lykken Trail, the Antique Galleries of Palm Springs, Indian Canyons, and more.

This acquisition follows NexGen Hotels' purchase of Hotel Versey in Chicago, Illinois.
The 137-room boutique hotel will also be managed by the Genuine Hospitality Group.
