Nobu Hospitality has announced a collaboration with US pay television channel FX owned by FX Networks, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.
The partnership is centred around the premiere of a new limited series Shōgun, set to release on FX on 27 February.
From February 14-27, guests at participating Nobu Hotels in Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami Beach, and Palo Alto will step into the world of 1600s Japan, as they are greeted by lobby installations showcasing Shōgun costumes seen in the show.
Additionally, Nobu Hotel guests checking-in from February 21-27 will receive an exclusive amenity kit from Japanese snack box subscription service Bokksu.
Nobu vice president of global hotel brand marketing Rachael Palumbo commented: “The collaboration for Shōgun aligns with Nobu's commitment to culturally rich experiences. Our team is offering memorable experiences that will resonate with Nobu guests.”
In 2023, Nobu opened hotels in Lisbon, Portugal, Marrakech, Morroco and Bangkok, Thailand, bringing its total properties to 13.
The company has plans to debut hotels in more global locations including Tulum, Madrid, and Al Khobar.Nobu Atlanta partnered with sports car manufacturer Porsche to launch the Porsche Icon Suite and Porsche Classic Room last year.
