Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel in the Indian state of Telangana has added Citroen electric vehicles (EVs) to its shuttle fleet.

This move is part of the hotel’s aim to foster sustainable and eco-conscious travel.

Citroen electric cars are environmentally friendly and include the latest technology to ensure a refined travel experience for guests.

Novotel notes that it has been proactive in its efforts to minimise its carbon footprint, integrating modern and energy-efficient solutions for transportation.

This addition comes after the inauguration of the EV charging station at the hotel in July last year.

The new EV charging station offers guests the added convenience of recharging their EVs.

This 292-room hotel is located at GMR Aerocity, Hyderabad.

It includes two dining options comprising The Food Exchange and The Gourmet Bar.

It also offers about 70,000ft² of event space spread across 17 meeting venues.

Other amenities provided at the hotel include an outdoor pool, car park, fitness centre, spa and more.

The hotel is also a 30-minute drive away from tourist attractions such as Hussainsagar Lake, Ramoji Film City, Charminar and Wonderla, among others.

Last month, an extended stay concept under the Novotel brand was unveiled in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Novotel Living Bangkok Sukhumvit Legacy property is anticipated to cater to travellers seeking a ‘home away from home,’ regardless of the length of their stay.

Novotel is part of the hospitality group Accor and currently operates more than 530 locations in more than 60 countries.

Accor includes a portfolio of more than 5,000 properties.
