O’Callaghan Family Group has announced the acquisition of The Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, Ireland, which will now be part of The iNUA Collection.
This comes after the company announced its plans to acquire the hotel last month.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Situated within ten acres of landscaped grounds, The Keadeen Hotel first opened in 1970.
Cliste Hospitality will manage the 69-bedroom hotel, adding it to its portfolio of other iNUA Collection properties such as Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, Ariel House, and more.
The latest addition marks the third joint venture between the O’Callaghan family and Cliste Hospitality, following their collaboration for The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk, County Louth.
All current management and staff of The Keadeen Hotel will retain their positions under the new ownership.
The iNUA Collection CEO and Cliste Hospitality Hotels director Sean O’Driscoll said: “Welcoming The Keadeen Hotel into The iNUA Collection strengthens our commitment to developing Ireland’s hospitality industry and sustaining regional tourism.
“We believe The Keadeen Hotel, with its exceptional team and loyal clientele, provides a solid foundation for continued success.”
The hotel currently offers dining options such as Saddlers, The Atrium Lounge, and The Bay Leaf.
It also features The CLUB Gym|Pool|Leisure, with an 18m indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, fitness/yoga studio, and gym.
It further offers event venues, including a ballroom that can accommodate approximately 700 guests, various meeting rooms, and The Amphitheatre, among other facilities.
The Keadeen Hotel's new proprietor Matthew O’Callahan said: “With its rich history and dedicated team, The Keadeen Hotel represents a significant addition to our growing hospitality portfolio at the O’Callaghan Family Group.
“Our family’s experience with our hotels in Louth has shown us the value of investing in local hospitality. With The Keadeen Hotel now part of our portfolio, we expect that our efforts will translate into increased economic activity in Newbridge and surrounding areas.”
