Palladium Hotel Group has utilised the data management solution of Talend, a company of Qlik, for its data-focused approach to support its digital transformation efforts and enhance the customer experience.

Talend is a data integration and data management company, while Palladium Hotel Group is a Spanish hotel chain with 40 hotels and more than 13,000 rooms spanning six countries.

Talend’s data management solution has enabled the hotel company to foster an extensive data-centric culture among both data experts and business users.

This allows the hotel chain to tackle data issues, including data quality and implement efficient data governance measures to minimise risks, streamline expenses and enhance the customer experience.

Qlik senior vice-president of sales for EMEA Gareth Vincent said: “In a dynamic and competitive market landscape, Palladium Hotel Group's objective was to transform into a data-driven company, where trusted data serves as the foundation for strategic decision-making, operational excellence and long-term success.

“By harnessing the power of data with Talend, the company discovers hidden opportunities, driving growth and innovation for the organisation and customers. We're delighted to partner with Palladium in their modern data management approach that's taking the work out of working with data.”

Palladium Hotel Group has adopted a hybrid strategy in its new data architecture, centred around the Talend platform and based on an AWS cloud infrastructure with a Snowflake data warehouse.

This approach enables both business and technical users to effortlessly locate and analyse the data necessary to find solutions and quickly accomplish business objectives.

In the updated data structure, Talend integrates and manages all the organisation's data sources.

This data originates from internal databases, software as a service applications, as well as Rest application programming interface connectors.

Palladium, with the help of Talend's Data Fabric and its partner SDG Group, has taken an approach that aims to enhance business value and democratise data.

With Talend's help, Palladium Hotel Group achieved a 75% decrease in report generation time, facilitating timely access to crucial information.

Forecast accuracy soared to 98%, thereby enhancing decision-making and lowering risks tied to inaccurate predictions.
