Playa Hotels & Resorts, which owns and operates resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, has announced a plan to open its new property, Kimpton Tres Rios, in early 2025.
Reservations for the all-inclusive property are now open.
Covering 326 acres of space, Kimpton Tres Rios will feature three ecosystems - jungle, mangrove forests, and coastal dunes.
The resort will offer 355 accommodations in more than 20 categories, including adults-only suites and ocean-view swim-out suites.
Kimpton Tres Rios will house seven restaurants, and five premium bars and lounges, with each offering a distinct ambience.
Other guest amenities at the resort include four swimming pools, wellness programmes, kids' activities, watersports and a range of ecological adventures.
Located on a white sand beach in Mexico's Riviera Maya, the resort has undergone a major transformation since early 2023, to fulfil the standards of IHG and Playa Hotels & Resorts.
Playa Hotels & Resorts executive vice president and chief investment officer Fernando Mulet said: "Kimpton Tres Rios redefines the luxury experience in the Riviera Maya, offering guests an all-inclusive retreat where every detail has been carefully designed to provide tranquillity, comfort, and an intimate connection with nature.
"It has been an honour to partner with IHG Hotels & Resorts to bring this first-ever Kimpton all-inclusive property to life. The result is a true benchmark in high-end hospitality."
Guests can avail of a special Grand Opening rate starting at $249 per person, per night at the resort if they book their stay now.
In November 2023, Playa Hotels & Resorts completed the overhaul of the renamed Wyndham Alltra Vallarta in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.
