Radisson expands Middle East footprint with new Radisson Blu in Jordan

The hotel's design combines contemporary aesthetics with Jordanian-inspired accents.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel Amman Galleria Mall in the heart of Jordan’s capital city, Amman.

The contemporary hotel offers 178 modern rooms and suites for both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel's design combines contemporary aesthetics with Jordanian-inspired accents.

Prime location for business and leisure

Situated 30 kilometres from the Queen Alia International Airport and close to the King Hussein Business Park, the hotel is an ideal base for business activities. Its location also gives guests easy access to Amman’s culinary hotspots and serves as a gateway to explore Jordan’s culture, heritage and history.

Marwan Shennara, general manager of Radisson Blu Hotel, Amman Galleria Mall, said in a statement: “We are excited to welcome guests to our modern hotel in the heart of Amman. Our hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, tailored to provide an unforgettable experience for both leisure and business travellers.” 

The hotel features a diverse culinary offering, including L’Olivier, an all-day dining restaurant, and the Jade bar and lounge. Other amenities include a pool and steam room.

Tim Cordon, chief operating officer for the Middle East and Africa, Radisson Hotel Group, emphasised the significance of this opening in a statement.

“The opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Amman Galleria Mall marks a significant milestone for us in Jordan and a return to the country. This hotel embodies our commitment to delivering exceptional service and a unique stay in one of the Middle East's most dynamic cities.” 

Commitment to safety and security

Radisson ensures that all its properties adhere to rigorous health, safety and security standards.

The hotel therefore aims to obtain Safehotels certification within its first months of opening.

Analyzing the key trends in luxury travel

In 2022, luxury travel took on a new perspective, prioritizing experiences over material possessions. Travelers sought personalized and customized journeys, while also embracing sustainability and responsible travel practices. With the increasing number of people working remotely and enjoying greater flexibility in their schedules, there has been a noticeable surge in bleisure travel.
