Radisson Hotel Group has further expanded its portfolio in India with the launch of Palchan Hotel & Spa in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
The newly launched property, a part of Radisson Individual Retreats, features spacious rooms with views of the Himalayan range.
The hotel's design reflects the Saatu architectural style, featuring stone pillars, intricate woodwork and hand-painted murals.
Radisson Hotel Group managing director and area senior vice-president for South Asia Zubin Saxena said: “Radisson Individuals Retreats allows us the opportunity to enable and co-create unparalleled experiences for guests in every part of India, especially in Tier-II and III cities.
“Considering the heavy footfall of travellers visiting Himachal Pradesh and especially Manali, the hotel’s strategic location will be one of its key USPs. With this opening, our goal is to make experience-driven hospitality accessible to a wider audience while also ensuring that our presence enriches the local community and preserves the natural beauty of this Himalayan paradise.”
Guests at the hotel can dine at Buran's, a speciality restaurant that serves a diverse menu of Italian, Japanese, Asian and Indian dishes in igloo cabins.
The hotel also features a rooftop Beaside Restaurant & Bar with both indoor and outdoor seating, offering a selection of international wines and spirits.
Other amenities at the property include an outdoor heated pool, a fitness centre and a spa with Himalayan-inspired treatments and rejuvenating facials.
The hotel’s location provides guests access to a group of activities, including skiing and paragliding.
Guests at the property can also visit nearby attractions such as Atal Tunnel, Hampta Pass, Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass, Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery and Mall Road.
Situated along the Rohtang Highway, the hotel is roughly an hour and a half hours’ drive from Kullu-Manali Airport in Bhuntar and is also close to local bus and train stations.
Additionally, the hotel is accessible via car or taxi and provides on-site parking.
Currently, Radisson Group has more than 165 hotels in operation as well as under development.
