Radisson Hotel Group has signed an agreement for the 133-key Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok, which is set to open in the second quarter (Q2) of 2024.

Formerly known as the Chateau de Bangkok, the property is situated near upscale malls, restaurants and the US Embassy.

This signing is part of Radisson Hotel Group's expansion plans in Thailand, with the goal of doubling its presence in the country from five to ten hotels by mid-2024.

The Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok will undergo extensive renovations to offer a wide range of rooms, suites and serviced apartments.

Radisson Group chief development officer Ramzy Fenianos said: "We have a clear brand architecture with globally recognised brands that have been developed and conceptualised to cater to the needs of guests and owners, from economy to luxury.

“The signing of Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok reaffirms our confidence in the long-term future of this iconic tourism destination and regional economic hub."

Located in Bangkok's commercial hub, the hotel will aim to offer a refreshed and comfortable experience for guests.

It will feature several dining options, a fitness centre, an outdoor pool and versatile event spaces.
