Hotel management company Remington Hospitality has assumed management of Murrieta Hot Springs Resort in the US state of California.
The historic property, founded in 1902, was acquired by Olympus Real Estate Group in 2022.
It is currently under a restoration process, with plans to reopen between December and March as a hot springs health and wellness resort.
Situated on a 46-acre piece of land in Murrieta, it is an hour's drive away from Los Angeles, San Diego and Palm Springs.
The renovated 174-room resort will provide access to over 60 natural hot spring pools and various water features.
Among the range of amenities to be provided are fitness classes and activities and meeting spaces.
Its geothermal-focused spa will offer therapeutic massages, terra thermal mud treatments, mineral soak pools, hot and dry saunas and a rooftop sun deck.
The resort will offer a range of dining choices, including a restaurant, a poolside café, a gazebo bar, a coffee shop, a wine bar and a lounge bar.
Serving as a retreat destination, the resort will also offer athletic coaches, an on-site naturopathic medical doctor and trainers.
Olympus Real Estate Group owner David Dronet said: "We are excited to unveil the revitalised Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. With its rich history and extensive restoration, this iconic Southern California destination is poised to become North America's premier hot springs health and wellness resort.
"Our intention is to preserve the property's character while infusing it with modern amenities and health-focused offerings. We're excited to welcome guests to this one-of-a-kind experience."
