Renest Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its hotel in Goa, India, in October this year, as reported by ETHospitalityWorld.com.

Renest Calangute Goa, which will feature 30 rooms, is situated 38km from Dabolim Airport and 29km from the recently opened Manohar International Airport at Mopa village in North Goa.

Renest Hotels & Resorts general manager of brand development Vishal Lonkar said: "As we step up our expansion plans across the country, we are excited to open our newest property – Renest Calangute Goa.

"Both domestic and international tourism in Goa is growing rapidly and we are keen to showcase our world-class hospitality standards to guests visiting the state."

The hotel, which is within a ten-minute drive of Candolim Beach and a 15-minute drive of Calangute Beach, will target travellers seeking both comfort and convenience.

Lonkar added: "At Renest Calangute Goa, we understand that every guest deserves the best and our commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of our establishment.

"With a dedicated 24-hour front desk, impeccable room service, a refreshing swimming pool, a tranquil spa and inviting outdoor furniture, we have curated an environment that caters to your every need. Furthermore, to keep our guests connected while they relax, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout their stay."

Guests at the hotel can avail themselves of the all-day dining restaurant Tribe, which will serve Asian, Indian and European cuisines.

The property will also boast a wellness spa and a bar called Jugnu, offering cocktails, wine and appetisers.

Demand for upscale and luxurious products has been rising steadily in the travel and tourism sector

The increased need for privacy, a greater focus on health and wellbeing, a desire to tick off ‘bucket list’ experiences, the tendency to take longer trips, the focus on eco-tourism, and an increase in millionaires means the theme of premiumization will continue to grow in importance. The travel industry will experience a surge in demand for higher-end and customized offerings as experiential consumption keeps growing. While premiumization attracts only a small number of global travelers, it is a valuable revenue stream for companies as it is unlikely to be impacted by external factors like economic downturns.
