Replay Destinations, a destination development company, has revealed plans to develop a 53-room luxury hotel within the Mill District in downtown Healdsburg, California, US.
The Mill District, a master-planned neighbourhood, is set on a ten-acre site that was once a lumber mill.
The hotel is currently undergoing the design review process with the Healdsburg City Council, with construction anticipated to begin in early 2025.
The hotel's architecture will be undertaken by Bay Area-based Dunnigan Sprinkle Architects.
Replay Destinations president and CEO Paul Jorgensen said: “The Hotel at Mill District will be the gateway to Healdsburg, one of the most charming towns in the country.
“Being immersed in the culture and community of Healdsburg has been a fundamental tenet since the inception of Mill District seven years ago. We will remain a partner and owner to ensure an unparalleled hotel experience for locals, future guests, and our future homeowners.”
The hotel's amenities are set to include a spa and wellness centre, an outdoor pool and spa deck, and a destination restaurant and bar.
Replay stated that it will be retaining ownership of the hotel to ensure its vision is fully realised.
Replay has also formed a partnership with Mayacama, a golf club and wine country community, to provide local expertise and experiences for guests.
This development follows Replay's 2020 acquisition of real estate parcels at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Replay has more than $2bn in real estate projects in planning and development.
