The Ritz-Carlton, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marriott International, has expanded its portfolio with the opening of a new luxury hotel in Morocco, The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam.
Situated within 440ha of forest and gardens, the hotel near the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam offers three golf courses with 45 holes.
Marriott International Luxury Brands, Europe, Middle East and Africa vice-president Helen Leighton said: “The debut of The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam marks a significant milestone for the Ritz-Carlton brand as we expand our footprint on the African continent and celebrate our first property in Morocco.
“Our guests can expect the brand’s legendary service, sumptuous interiors, and a stunning natural setting that together create a sanctuary of luxury and serenity in the heart of Rabat.”
This hotel features 100 guest rooms and 17 suites, each with a private terrace offering views of the pool and gardens. It also includes the 180m² Royal Suite.
The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam has various dining options, an array of outdoor spaces, spa facilities, and an indoor pool with a glass roof.
Additionally, the hotel offers a fitness centre, 2,200m² of outdoor event spaces, and 454m² of indoor event space spread over three rooms.
In July, Marriott International signed an agreement to open the UAE’s first Ritz-Carlton Reserve on Ramhan Island, Abu Dhabi.
The Ritz-Carlton brand operates currently more than 110 hotels across more than 35 countries and territories.
