Hotel technology company RoomRaccoon has acquired iHotelligence, a Dublin-based property management software.

The specific terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

It marks the first acquisition handled by RoomRaccoon's internal mergers and acquisitions department.

RoomRaccoon has been financially independent since its founding in 2017.

RoomRaccoon founder and CEO Tymen van Dyl said: “Acquiring iHotelligence represents a major milestone for us.

“By welcoming iHotelligence into the RoomRaccoon family, we will significantly increase our customer base in Ireland, positioning ourselves as market leaders in hotel management software in the region.”

iHotelligence founder Keith Slowey said: “RoomRaccoon’s acquisition of iHotelligence demonstrates their commitment to expanding their presence in Ireland and delivering superior technology solutions to Irish hoteliers.

“This partnership will have major benefits for all hotels currently using iHotelligence by providing them with a singular cloud-based platform with advanced features to improve operational efficiencies and increase revenue.”

RoomRaccoon's hotel management software will offer iHotelligence hotels a range of upgrades, including automated upsell functionality, housekeeping management, and more.

These upgrades will also include dynamic pricing tools that adapt pricing strategies in response to real-time market data, demand changes, and occupancy rates.

This acquisition is expected to also expand RoomRacoon’s customer base across the Irish market.

In September 2023, RoomRaccoon announced its new two-way integration with vacation rental marketplace Vrbo.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, RoomRaccoon provides its services to more than 2000 hoteliers, catering to over 25,000 rooms worldwide.

The company plans to further expand across both Europe and North America.

iHotelligence has developed a selection of software products comprising an on-site property management system, channel manager, and booking engine.

Its customer base in Ireland includes independent hotels and boutique hotels.
