Texas-based Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has entered New Zealand with the addition of Robertson Lodges, a collection of three resorts.
These properties, which consist of Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Rosewood Cape Kidnappers and Rosewood Matakauri, will become part of the Rosewood portfolio starting December 1, 2023.
Rosewood Hotel Group CEO Sonia Cheng said: “New Zealand's inspiring natural beauty and warm hospitality have truly captivated us and we are thrilled to embark on this remarkable journey with Robertson Lodges.
“It is with great respect and admiration that we seek to honour the Robertson family’s original vision by further elevating the guest experience offered at each resort with Rosewood’s singular approach to ultra-luxury hospitality.”
This new addition marks the company’s entry into the Oceania region.
Rosewood Hotel Group aims to maintain the service style of the resorts while enforcing the brand's attentive service and immersive experiences.
In 2001, the three resorts were founded by philanthropists Julian and Josie Robertson.

The resort also boasts a golf course designed by golf course architect Tom Doak and a wildlife restoration project called Cape Sanctuary.
