The Ruby Group, a hotel group based in Munich, is expanding its reach in Ireland with its second hotel in Dublin.
Set to open by the end of 2025, the hotel will be a new building comprising 257 rooms and a rooftop bar.
Located on Middle Abbey Street in Dublin's city centre, the hotel has a prime location near the Temple Bar district and other major attractions.
This marks Ruby's eighth brand entry in Europe, following its presence in Germany, Austria, the UK, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and France.
Ruby group director development Julian Mörs said: "The Dublin hotel market has proven to be very resilient, even in times of crisis, with ongoing high demand from national and international business and leisure travellers.
"Our second Ruby Hotel project in the Irish capital complements the first one perfectly.”
The project is a collaboration between Ruby and Dublin-based Fitzwilliam Real Estate, with Ruby's own design team responsible for the interior design.
Fitzwilliam Real Estate Noel Smyth said: “This new hotel will be a welcome addition to Dublin’s thriving tourism scene. It will be situated in an area which is steeped in national history in addition to being one of Dublin’s busiest shopping and leisure hot spots."
