Sarovar Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Royale Sarovar Portico in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Hotelierindia.com has reported.
Sarovar partnered with OM Royale Estates for the hotel project, which is located on Fatehabad Road in Agra city and is a short distance from the iconic Taj Mahal.
Designed to provide comfort, the hotel features 66 rooms, including deluxe rooms, executive rooms and suites.
It also boasts Hibiscus, an all-day dining restaurant serving multi-cuisine dishes and a lounge bar called Bamboo, according to Travel Trends Today.
The hotel can host weddings and big conferences for up to 850 guests at its 14,000ft² of banqueting space, which includes the Royale House, the Royale Ballroom and the Royale Garden.
Among the amenities being provided at the property are a spa, a swimming pool and a fitness facility.

The hotel is located 10.2km from Agra Airport, 7.4km from Agra railway station, 4.8km from Agra Fort, 7.8km from Itmad-ud-Daula, 8.3 km from Yamuna Expressway and 5.4km from Agra local bus stand.
