Luxury hospitality company Equinox Hotels has announced its involvement in the NEOM regional development in northwest Saudi Arabia.
Located between the mountains and the sea, Equinox Resort Treyam will feature a 450m-long bridge 40m above a lagoon, connecting guest rooms and suites, a club house, a spa and a signature Equinox Fitness Club.
The hotel will be one of Magna's twelve destinations, the newest region in the NEOM project on the Gulf of Aqaba.
Equinox Hotels CEO Christopher Norton commented: “Our resort will serve as the model for transformative luxury, activating the entire destination with experiences that only we can offer. Our partnership with NEOM highlights a shared commitment to redefining the boundaries of hospitality.”
NEOM hotel division executive director Chris Newman added: “Guests will have the opportunity to fully engage with this extraordinary location, where every detail is designed to enhance their well-being, elevate their journey and support a high-performance lifestyle.”
Equinox’s flagship luxury hotel is located in New York City, US. The company aims to open 30 hotels up to 2033 as it expands beyond its fitness and health club offerings.
In 2023, the company partnered with multi-project developer Red Sea Global on another resort in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating its focus on the nation.
