Hospitality technology company Shiji Group has announced the integration of its Infrasys Cloud POS with mobile ordering platform Wi-Q.
This collaboration is set to deliver a unified ordering process for hotel guests and operators, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The integration leverages the open API capability of Infrasys Cloud POS, allowing guests to place orders directly from their personal devices.
This feature provides guests greater control over their dining experience as well as reduces the need for staff intervention.
Orders placed via Wi-Q are directly transmitted to the kitchen through Infrasys Cloud POS, ensuring order accuracy, minimising wait times, and improving guest satisfaction.
The integration also offers a real-time menu syncing feature, enabling hoteliers to manage their menus from a single location.
This system automatically links guest orders to the property management system (PMS), reducing manual efforts and the potential for errors.
This ensures that guests have access to the latest menu items and prices, reflecting any changes instantaneously across the ordering platform.
Furthermore, the integration simplifies the billing process with its 'charge to room or PMS' functionality.
Shiji Partnerships and Product Integrations director Brian Garvan said: “This integration perfectly aligns with our mission to collaborate with cutting-edge platforms, enhancing the experience for both hoteliers and their guests.
“By leveraging this innovative technology, we can provide hoteliers with the tools they need to streamline operations, improve guest satisfaction, and ultimately increase their profitability. We are thrilled to introduce this solution to hotels across the globe.”
Last month, S Hotels & Resorts implemented Shiji’s WeChat booking engine for its SAii hotel brand, aiming to improve accessibility for the Chinese market.
