Global hospitality technology company Shiji has entered into a strategic partnership with Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality to upgrade its hotel management systems.
The collaboration will involve the implementation of Shiji's advanced PMS, the Shiji Enterprise Platform, and the Infrasys Cloud POS across Diaoyutai MGM's portfolio of luxury hotels.
The move is expected to boost operational efficiency and refine guest experiences.
Shiji International CEO Kevin King said: "Our shared vision with Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality is to digitally transform the hotel experience, focusing on enhancing guest interactions, streamlining operations, and improving staff satisfaction. Shiji Enterprise Platform (PMS) and Infrasys Cloud POS are designed to support these goals."
Shiji said its PMS is designed to manage the complex needs of high-end properties, with a focus on single-guest profile management.
This feature is expected to significantly improve guest experiences at Diaoyutai MGM's hotels by enabling management of guest profiles at both the group and individual hotel level.
Microservices architecture of the platform facilitates seamless integration with other systems. This will allow Diaoyutai MGM to develop or tailor applications to meet their unique requirements.
Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality senior vice-president George Yang said: "We are excited about this partnership as a starting point for further collaboration with Shiji. By leveraging Shiji’s expertise in hotel technology, we aim to accelerate digital transformation in our industry and enhance the experience of our guests, staff, and partners."
A joint venture between Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and MGM Resorts International, Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality currently manages six hotel brands and one residence brand.
Its properties span from the urban landscapes to serene coastal retreats.
