Signum Hotels & Resorts opens resort in Maharashtra, India

Situated in the Igatpuri hill station, the 35-room resort features an outdoor pool and a multi-cuisine restaurant.

Signum Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Signum Resort Igatpuri in the Indian state of Maharashtra, as reported by ETHospitalityWorld.com. This opening marks the second launch for Signum this year.

Signum opened the resort after a substantial period, representing a milestone for the brand. The company plans to open more properties in the last quarter (Q4) of 2023.

Located in the Indian state of Maharashtra, the 35-room resort features a multi-cuisine dining space and an outdoor swimming pool.

It can host events at its banquet space spread across 4,500ft² with a capacity to accommodate up to 400 to 500 guests.

Signum Hotels & Resorts founder and CEO Mehul Sharma said: "With the opening of Signum Resort Igatpuri, we are not only introducing a hospitality destination in the city but also establishing our presence in the scenic landscapes of Maharashtra.

"This endeavour reflects our commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences to our guests."

The resort is situated in Igatpuri, a hill station in the Western Ghats and is known for its waterfalls, such as those in the Bhatsa river valley.

It targets all types of travellers, ranging from guests on business trips to those on a family vacation.

Signum Hotels and Resorts is a hotel management company that manages hotels and resorts worldwide.

The hospitality company has already opened 12 hotels in India and manages over 500 apartments spread across more than 40 different locations.

In August this year, Signum Hotels ventured into the Indian state of Gujarat with the launch of Signum CityScapes Landmark in the port town of Dahej.
