EaseMyTrip subsidiary Spree Hospitality has signed Spree Resort Khalapur, further expanding its presence in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

This 59-room resort in Khalapur will be the tenth Spree property in the state.

It is expected to open in March 2025 and will feature a resto-bar, a banquet hall for events, and a lawn area.

The resort will also offer adventure games, and both indoor and outdoor gaming experiences.

Spree Hospitality COO Sagar Khurana said: “Spree Resort Khalapur is a significant addition to our growing portfolio of properties, and we are excited to bring our signature hospitality to this picturesque location.

"With its unique location on the outskirts of Maharashtra, this resort is ideally suited for leisure travellers, residential conferences, weddings, and corporate day outings. We are confident that Spree Resort Khalapur will set a new standard in hospitality for the region.”

The property will be easily accessible from various cities across the state. 

Last month, Spree Hospitality signed Spree Maati Jungle Resort, in Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh, which is expected to open next month.

This resort will be the fourth Spree property situated near a tiger reserve. 

Spree Hospitality currently operates more than 30 properties in India and has several properties in the pipeline.

The portfolio includes Spree One Resort and Convention Annavaram, Spree Hotel Kriday, Spree Shivai, Zip by Spree Hotels Chakan, and more.
