Spree Hospitality, a subsidiary of online travel company EaseMyTrip, is set to expand its footprint in India with a new hotel in Rajkot, Gujarat.

Scheduled to welcome guests from 1 January 2025, the property aims to cater to both leisure and business travellers with its 34 rooms and amenities.

Spree Hospitality chief operations officer Sagar Khurana said: “Rajkot is a thriving city with a dynamic blend of history and innovation. “With this new property, we continue our journey of expanding into vibrant and accessible locations across India, focusing on delivering exceptional hospitality and meeting the evolving needs of modern-day travellers.”

The upcoming hotel will feature Spree's restaurant Niramaya, offering regional and international cuisine.

Guests will also have access to a fully equipped gym, a bakery and café, and an indoor games room, aimed at enhancing the guest experience and catering to various preferences.

Each room in the new Rajkot hotel will be equipped with advanced technology, Wi-Fi, plush bedding, and interiors to ensure a comfortable stay.

In line with Spree Hospitality's commitment to sustainability, the hotel will incorporate energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly amenities.

Strategically located, the hotel provides convenient access to Rajkot's cultural landmarks and business districts.

The addition of this property aligns with Spree's strategy to meet the increasing demand for premium accommodations in Gujarat, which is known for its industrial prowess and cultural heritage.

In September 2024, Spree Hospitality signed Spree Resort Khalapur in Maharashtra, India.

The 59-room property in Khalapur is anticipated to open in March 2025 and will offer a banquet hall and a lawn.
