Texas Western Hospitality has announced the opening of a new Home2 Suites by Hilton property in the US state of Florida, as reported by HospitalityNet.

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando South Davenport’s management team is led by general manager Kari Hall-Adams.

Texas Western Hospitality sales and marketing executive vice-president Kristin Waddill said: “Texas Western Hospitality is excited to extend its portfolio footprint into the Florida market. We look forward to our continued growth as we have three more hotel openings in various markets in the coming months.”

The 128-room Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando South Davenport aims to cater to travellers who want to maintain their usual routine and features suites with kitchens and modular furniture, offering flexibility for guests to customise as per their preferences.

The hotel also offers a range of tech-focused and eco-friendly amenities.

Situated off I-4 and 27.5 miles away from Orlando International Airport, it provides easy access to all Orlando activities, including SeaWorld, Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.

The property offers Home2Suites amenities, including the Spin2 cycle, combined space for laundry and fitness, Home2 MKT, the Inspired Table and free daily breakfast.

Additional amenities at the pet-friendly property include a fitness facility, an outdoor patio with a fire pit, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and communal spaces, as well as a business centre.

Demand for upscale and luxurious products has been rising steadily in the travel and tourism sector

The increased need for privacy, a greater focus on health and wellbeing, a desire to tick off ‘bucket list’ experiences, the tendency to take longer trips, the focus on eco-tourism, and an increase in millionaires means the theme of premiumization will continue to grow in importance. The travel industry will experience a surge in demand for higher-end and customized offerings as experiential consumption keeps growing. While premiumization attracts only a small number of global travelers, it is a valuable revenue stream for companies as it is unlikely to be impacted by external factors like economic downturns.
