United Arab Emirates-based TIME Hotels has selected hospitality technology provider Shiji’s platform to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency across its properties.
TIME Hotels has implemented Shiji’s solutions, including its cloud property management system (PMS) Shiji Enterprise Platform.
It has chosen the Shiji Enterprise Platform, along with Shiji Digital Stay and Infrasys cloud point-of-sales (POS) solutions for a technology stack upgrade.
Built on event-driven architecture, the platform enhances performance and minimises server load.
It offers full data protection and can connect with any new system, application or hardware.
This integration is aimed at streamlining and enhancing the entire guest journey, from check-in to check-out, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for guests.
Shiji solutions were deployed at TIME Ruby Hotel Apartments in Sharjah and became operational on 14 November 2023, marking the phased rollout across the portfolio of TIME Hotels.
TIME Hotels includes a diverse portfolio of properties such as 102-room TIME Rako Hotel, TIME Royal Ambassador Hotel offering 77 rooms and suites, 91-key TIME Moonstone Hotel Apartments, and more.
Shiji chief operating officer Kevin King said: “We share TIME’s vision of a digital transformation that will enhance the guest experience while improving operational and staff efficiency.
“Our next generation of PMS, POS and Digital Stay solutions will achieve that goal.”
Time Hotels CEO Mohamed Awadalla said: “To support our expansion plans, we needed a seamless technology foundation that would be capable of growing with us.
“After looking at various options on the market, we found Shiji’s solutions matched our specific requirements.”
Last December, Shiji entered a partnership with Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland to enhance the resort’s operational efficiency.
Shiji currently offers its services to more than 91,000 hotels, 600,000 retail outlets and 200,000 restaurants.
