He expressed gratitude to Christie & Co for their assistance in the transaction - the first deal of 2024 for Caledonian through Christie.
Strategic sale of Coast & Country portfolio assets
Stephen Champion, director of Christie & Co's hotel team, who facilitated the sale on behalf of the seller, highlighted the Torbay Hotel's significance as a landmark near Torquay's marina.
The property garnered substantial interest from both domestic and international hotel operators during its market launch.
The Torbay Hotel is one of the 33 assets included in the Coast & Country portfolio, indicating the strong interest these hotels have received.
With only a limited number of assets still available, interested parties are encouraged to contact Jeremy Jones, head of hotel brokerage at Christie & Co, for further information on the remaining Coast & Country hotels on the market.
