Treehouse Hotels & Resorts, a brand owned by Karma Hospitality, has announced the launch of caravan parks in India, according to ETHospitality.com.

Under the new concept, the first property will debut in Neemrana, in the Indian state of Rajasthan and will be called Treehouse Sunrise Resort and Caravan Park, Neemrana.

The caravan park is connected to the existing Treehouse Hotels Resort in Neemrana town.

This concept aims to offer the experience of camping along with the luxury and comfort of a resort.

Treehouse Sunrise Resort and Caravan Park, spread across ten acres of land, is located on the Delhi-Jaipur highway and is suited for both business and leisure travellers.

The Treehouse Group will launch caravan parks in India to cater to the growing trend of ‘drivecations’.

The group intends to create a safe place for travellers to park their caravans and access the facilities of the resort or enjoy an alternate accommodation in a caravan.

Treehouse Hotels & Resorts managing partner Jayant Singh said: "We are absolutely thrilled to offer this new unwinding offering for road trip travellers and caravan lovers. The entire concept is very unique in addition to our hospitality portfolio and introducing caravan parks will be a very significant contribution towards the hospitality infrastructure in India.

"We are aiming to introduce at least 20 such parks in the coming five years. We hope to see more takers of the new-age concepts and plan to introduce many more of such ventures in the future."

Guests at the property will have access to all the resort's amenities, such as a swimming pool, stargazing, a tennis court, camping, a cycling track and various outdoor and indoor activities.

The park offers comfortable tents and barbecue facilities, allowing guests to enjoy nature, along with three caravans for them to stay in.

Furthermore, it includes three parking bays with electrical and plumbing facilities for visitors with their own caravans.

Cybercriminals are attracted to a wealth of personal data making the travel sector a prime target

The travel and tourism sector is becoming increasingly digitalized, embracing emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud. As the digital ecosystems of companies grow, they become more vulnerable to cyberattacks. The industry is fragmented, thereby increasing the number of potential entry points for attackers to exploit. Collaboration is vital, and companies must ensure that all their vendors also have suitable measures in place. Per GlobalData estimates, cybersecurity revenues in the T&T sector are forecasted to reach $3.5 billion by 2026.
