Trip.com Group unveils Trip.Vision app for Apple Vision Pro

Trip.Vision aims to redefine travel exploration by offering users a unique and immersive experience of popular destinations worldwide.

Trip.com Group has introduced the Trip.Vision app, designed to harness the advanced capabilities of Apple's latest mixed-reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro.

Developed exclusively for the Apple Vision Pro, Trip.Vision aims to redefine travel exploration by offering users a unique and immersive experience of popular destinations worldwide. Users can virtually explore iconic locations such as Mount Everest, Guilin, the Maldives, Antarctica and the Sahara Desert through high-quality and realistic panoramas.

Immersive experience beyond expectations

Upon entering the app with the Apple Vision Pro headset, users are treated to 360-degree panoramic videos of global landscapes. High-definition scenes surpassing the quality provided by 4K TV resolution, create a sensation of standing at the chosen travel destination. The responsive interface, controlled by users' eyes, hands and voice, eliminates the need for additional controls, while the high-tech audio system enhances the immersive experience.

Trip.com Group's ongoing innovation in travel technology

Trip.com Group launched the AI travel assistant TripGenie in 2023, continuing its tradition of travel innovation. The AI assistant utilises large language model technologies to provide users with a more personal, intuitive and hassle-free travel planning experience, helping them to plan itineraries and offering personalised recommendations for flights and hotels within seconds.

Bo Sun highlighted the launches of Trip.Vision and TripGenie as a testament to Trip.com Group's commitment to enhancing travel experiences through innovation.

The Trip.Vision app is now available on the US App Store for Apple Vision Pro.
