TUI enhances digital guest journey with Canary Technologies

Canary’s Guest Experience Platform is mobile-friendly and PCI compliant, requiring no additional app downloads.

TUI Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Canary Technologies in a significant move to enhance the digital guest journey.

Under the collaboration, TUI leveraged Canary's guest management system to introduce innovative solutions across its extensive portfolio of more than 400 hotels and resorts in 40 countries.

Canary Technologies's AI-powered platform is set to provide TUI properties with advanced tools designed to improve guest experiences.

Notable features such as Mobile Check-in and Smart Checkout are expected to streamline processes for guests, allowing them to avoid long queues and enjoy the amenities offered by TUI.

The partnership also introduces Canary’s Dynamic Upsells, enabling guests to easily access a variety of services and food and beverage options at their convenience.

Canary Technologies EMEA regional sales director Manuel de la Torre said: “Our comprehensive platform empowers TUI to not only elevate the guest experience but also unlock new revenue opportunities through solutions like Canary’s Dynamic Upsells.”

Canary’s comprehensive Guest Experience Platform is mobile-friendly and PCI-compliant, requiring no additional app downloads.

It is crafted to enhance revenue streams, boost staff productivity, maximise guest satisfaction, and offer guests tailored upsell opportunities post-booking.

Canary's system also includes robust security measures. During the check-in process, the technology conducts fraud checks and verifies guest information, which can significantly reduce fraud and chargebacks by up to 90%.

Last month, the company secured $50m in a Series C funding round, led by Insight Partners. The investment is aimed at accelerating AI technology within the hospitality sector.
