In a move to streamline the UK visa application process, the Home Office has teamed up with VFS Global to bring visa application services to hotels across India.

The innovative strategic collaboration, which will enhance the ease of applying for UK visas, involves the Indian Hotels Company, a subsidiary of Tata, and the Radisson Hotel Group.

Individuals seeking UK visas can conveniently submit their applications at select hotels, providing a more accessible and efficient application experience.

A closer look at the locations

VFS Global, a private company, has partnered with UK Visas and Immigration to deliver support services for individuals applying for visas to enter the United Kingdom.

Residents of the cities of Bengaluru, Mangalore and Visakhapatnam are among the first to benefit from the novel approach. Applicants can now submit their UK visa applications at designated Taj Hotels.

The Vivanta Bengaluru in Whitefield, Vivanta Mangalore on Old Port Road, and the Gateway Hotel in Visakhapatnam have begun offering the service.

Convenience redefined

With the initiation of this partnership, the visa application process takes a significant step forward in terms of accessibility and convenience. By leveraging the established network of hotels, UK visa applicants can now minimise travel-related inconvenience.

The collaborative effort between VFS Global and the hospitality giants marks a notable shift in how visa services are provided, with a focus on meeting applicants' needs efficiently and effectively.

Such an innovative approach to visa applications not only benefits the applicants but also showcases the UK Home Office's commitment to modernising and improving immigration processes.

As the partnership expands to more locations, it has the potential to revolutionise the way visa applications are handled, setting a precedent for simplified and user-friendly procedures worldwide.
