Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel and resort brand of Hilton International, has opened its latest hotel in Doha, Qatar, named Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay.

The new property is situated close to the city centre and key attractions. It offers guests elegant furnishings, a variety of dining options, a four-floor wellness experience, and a personalised service.

The 44-storey hotel boasts a façade and main entrance reminiscent of the original Waldorf Astoria in New York, infusing a touch of Manhattan's iconic style into the heart of Qatar's capital.

The property offers 283 rooms and suites, alongside 50 luxury apartments. To enhance the guest experience, each visitor will be provided with a personal concierge to ensure every aspect of their stay is meticulously managed.

Signifying the brand's history, an exquisite clock crafted by Tiffany & Co has been installed in the lobby of the hotel.

The hotel's Waldorf Astoria Spa spans four floors, from the 39th to the 43rd, offering guests a unique wellness journey with views of the city skyline.

The spa's bespoke offerings include salt inhalation relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy pools, thermal experiences such as a sensory rain walk, a salon, private Alpha sphere relaxation zones, and suites dedicated to holistic wellness treatments.

Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay also offers diverse dining venues, including Peacock Alley, Ledoux and Al Fayrouz Terrace.

Tribeca Market, a gourmet food hall, offers a New York-inspired menu with live stations, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The hotel's event facilities are designed to cater to a range of occasions, featuring two ballrooms with a capacity to accommodate up to 500 guests each.

There are also two boardrooms, three multi-functional meeting rooms, and an outdoor patio, at the hotel. All of them benefit from natural daylight and a separate meeting entrance.

Hilton Middle East & Africa president Guy Hutchinson said: “Qatar is seeing strong growth in international travel, welcoming more than four million visitors in 2023 – and we are delighted to be expanding our presence in the country with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay.

“Whether in Qatar for business or leisure, the property’s timeless design, enticing culinary options, four-floor spa and sophisticated events facilities make it an urban oasis in the heart of the city.”
